Advanced Parkinson’s Therapies Presentation Feb. 14 2020 1-3pm

Please join Parkinson Canada for an afternoon with Yu-Yan Poon who will provide an informative and engaging presentation about Advanced Parkinson’s Therapies:

Advanced Parkinson’s Therapies:
Topic: This presentation will describe:
• When Advanced Therapies should be considered;
• What options are available; and,
• How to choose the right therapy for each individual.

Speaker: Yu-Yan Poon (Nurse & Clinic Research Coordinator, Toronto Western Hospital Movement Disorders Centre)
Yu Yan has worked at the Toronto Western Hospital Movement Disorders Centre for 20 years where she meets with both new and follow-up patients who require advance therapy for their Parkinson’s disease. She provides teaching on different therapies, counselling and advise on disease management. Yu-Yan also helps the physicians establish clinical trial protocols and assess patients who are enrolled in clinical studies.
