March - Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) Awareness
Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) is a rare neurodegenerative disorder that affects movement, balance, and autonomic functions. March is dedicated to raising awareness about this condition, supporting patients, and funding research for better treatments.
April - Corticobasal Degeneration (CBD) Awareness
Corticobasal Degeneration (CBD) is a progressive neurological disorder that impacts movement, cognition, and speech. In April, we focus on educating communities, supporting caregivers, and advocating for those living with CBD.
May - Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) Awareness
Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) affects movement, balance, and eye control, often mistaken for Parkinson’s disease. May is a time to highlight PSP, share stories, and promote research for a cure.
October - Dementia with Lewy Bodies (DLB) Awareness
Dementia with Lewy Bodies (DLB) is the second most common form of degenerative dementia, causing cognitive decline, hallucinations, and motor issues. October is our chance to shed light on DLB and support affected families.
