End of Year Meeting with Cookie Exchange!

End of Year Meeting with Cookie Exchange!

Dear Members,

As the year draws to a close, we’re excited to invite you to our last in person support group meeting of 2023, scheduled for November 27th at Port Nelson United Church 1-3pm. This gathering holds special significance as it will be our final official meeting before the year ends, with no meeting planned for December.

However, December will not be without its joys! We are organizing a casual social lunch, details of which will be shared in the coming weeks. This will be a wonderful opportunity for us to connect in a relaxed setting, celebrate the year’s journey, and look forward to the future.

For our November 27th meeting, we encourage both our longstanding and new members to participate. It’s a perfect occasion to share experiences, offer support, and strengthen our community bonds.

Cookie Exchange Extravaganza!

In the spirit of sharing and festive fun, we will be hosting a Cookie Exchange at the meeting! Here’s how it works:

1. Bake & Bring: Each participant brings a batch of homemade cookies (any recipe of your choice).
2. Display & Describe: We’ll display the cookies, and you can share a bit about what makes your recipe special.
3. Exchange & Enjoy: Everyone gets to pick and take home a variety of cookies from the assortment.

This cookie exchange is not just about the cookies; it’s a symbol of the diverse and rich flavors of our community. Each cookie, like each member, adds a unique taste to our group.

We are looking forward to seeing you all on November 27th for a day of support, sharing, and sweet indulgences. Your presence will make our final meeting of the year truly memorable.
